Category Images automatically displays random product cover images for your PrestaShop categories and subcategories, giving your store a fresh, dynamic appearance without requiring you to manually upload and maintain category images.

Instead of showing the same static category image every time, the module randomly selects a product cover image from the products assigned to the category. Each page refresh can display a different product, helping showcase more of your catalog and keeping category pages visually engaging.

If a category does not contain any products directly, the module can automatically search its child categories and use product cover images from those categories instead. This makes it ideal for stores that organize products into subcategories while using parent categories only for navigation.
